Gender Pay Gap in Argentina
The gender wage gap in Argentina measured by the ILO is close to zero when calculating the gap based on hourly wages. When using monthly wages, the gap rises to 25 per cent. Hence, the labour market and working times are still very separated in Argentina.
Argentina ranks 30 th in the Global Gender Gap Report 2020 by the World Economic Forum. However, the data on economic participation and opportunity as well as wage differences reveal that Argentina still experiences a large gap, ranking 103 and 112 respectively.
