The gender pay gap stays in Sweden with around 16 per cent at the European average.
Equal Pay Day in Sweden
On February 26, 2015, the EPD took place in Sweden. BPW Sweden held discussion rounds with politicians and could reach a large number of interested persons during the Nordic Forum. Remarkably, an opinion poll showed that in the realm of gender and family policies a large majority of 69% of the respondents are interested in equal pay, 19% in pensions and 12% in quota regulations.
