The Swedish Women's Lobby has initiated the campaign [http://sverigeskvinnolobby.se/en/project/1552-campaign-on-the-gender-pay-gap/ 16:00 – TIME FOR PAY ALL DAY!]. The Women's Lobby calls upon all women to stop wokring at 4pm to show that women are not paid for their work past 4pm. Men are getting paid for their entire working day. The pay gap has remained more or less stable since the early 1980’s.

Remarkably, an opinion poll showed that in the realm of gender and family policies a large majority of 69 per cent of the respondents are interested in equal pay, 19 per cent in pensions and 12 per cent in quota regulations.
