Gender Pay Gap in Poland

The European Commission figures the gender pay gap in Poland as 6.4 per cent (2013). However, data from Poland and UN Women indicate that the pay gap is likely to be much higher. UN Women states that the gender pay gap stays at 15 per cent. Even higher, estimates from Poland indicate a gap of 21.4 per cent.

Equal Pay Day in Poland

Since 2010, BPW Poland organises various activities on the Equal Pay Day. In 2015, the EPD has been held at March 19. On this day, various demonstration for equal pay have taken place and information material has been distributed in the streets.
