The gender pay gap has been steady below-average at stays at 5 per cent (2017).

A high level of awareness of the gender pay gap can be recognised in Luxembourg. 80 per cent of the population are aware of the wage inequality and agree to the necessity of public and government intervention to tackle wage inequality.

Equal Pay Day in Luxembourg

The Equal Pay Day in organised Conseil National des Femmes National du Luxembourg since 2010. The CBFN also launched a petition asking the government to enforce the law on equal pay among firms.
